Event
These patches recognize a specific game, series of games, or multi-day event. Most do not specify a target audience or are designed for officials, but there are a few intended for announcers, photographers, skaters, volunteers, etc.
Bridges & Boardwalks was hosed by Sacramento Roller Derby and Santa Cruz Roller Derby.
The British Championships are a multi-tier tournament that takes an entire year to play out (like the French Champs or the German Bundesliga). At the end of the year the top teams from each tier (division) are invited to play against each other in a two-day, 16-game "playoff" tournament. Those that attend Playoffs are welcome to add the "playoffs" patch underneath the qualifying tournament patches.
The crew patch is reserved for volunteers, stream camera workers, medics, announcers, etc.
The "head" patch is reserved for divisional head officials who oversee games for part of a tier (division). Sort of a crew head or tournament head official, but on more of a regional and seasonal basis.
There are five versions of this patch - event, official, head, crew, and skater. This is the event version.
